Mulanje District Council has budgeted funds under Governance to Enabled Service Delivery (GESD) for the implementation of various activities in the district and intends to apply part of the funds for the construction projects listed below using Request For Quotations (RFQ) procedures from eligible bidders.

  1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open Tendering using Request For Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers-Procurement in Investment Project Financing dated November 2020 (Procurement Regulations) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

  2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Mulanje District Council – Procurement Unit Section or by calling on: 0999 414 520 0r Email: [email protected] and inspect the bidding Documents at the address given below at clause 7 (a) from 08.00 to 12-00; and 13.30 hours to 16.00 hours local time (Monday to Friday), except on Public Holidays.

  3. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders on request to the address below on 7 (b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK 20, 000.00. Payment for the documents will be made at the Cash Office, on the address below at clause 7 (b). The method of payment will be strictly Cash.

  4. All bids must be deposited in the Tender Box, at the address below at 7(c) at or before 14:00 hours local time on Thursday, 20th February, 2025 at 14:00 hours. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 7(b) at 14.00 hours, local time on Thursday, 20th February, 2025.
